4b: Feelings and behaviour

Watch this video of young people talking about how they feel about climate change.

Children from Moor Allerton Hall Primary School in Leeds discuss their opinions and feelings about climate change.

Read the statements.  Which, of any, do you think reflects best the feelings and opinions of the children in your school? (No need to document your thoughts)

  • Climate Change is urgent and we need to act now
  • If we start doing something now we can sort it
  • Climate Change might mean the end of the world by the time I grow up
  • I’m not sure what I can do that will make any difference
  • I don’t like to think about Climate Change much because I feel scared when I do
  • I think it’s important we all do what we can
  • I’m confused, I don’t know what to think or feel
  • It’s important to me and my family to do what we can to help the climate
  • Adults I know don’t seem to really  care much about the planet.
